Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using draft-resume.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service does

ResumeDraft helps you tailor your resume to a specific job description using AI, based only on the information and answers you provide. We do not fabricate experience, credentials, or metrics on your behalf, and you are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before submitting it to any employer.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person; no sharing paid entitlements or accounts.

4. Plans and payment

• Free accounts include limited use as described on the /pricing page (for example one resume and one rewrite).
• Paid plans (Pro monthly, Pro annual, and Lifetime) grant entitlements as described on /pricing at the time of purchase.
• Paid entitlements are non-transferable between accounts.
• Within 30 days of purchase, contact support@draft-resume.com with your order details if you're not satisfied. Refunds for Lifetime purchases and unused Pro subscription time are handled case by case. If a tailored resume fails to generate due to a technical error on our side, contact us for a credit or access fix.

5. Your content

• You retain ownership of your resume content, job descriptions, and any material you upload.
• You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to generate your tailored output and operate the Service.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide — the Service can only work with what you tell it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate false credentials, fabricated experience, or misleading claims about qualifications you don't have
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

7. AI-generated content disclaimer

Output is generated with AI assistance based on your input. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, interview invitations, or that any resume will pass a specific employer's screening process. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-suggested edits before use.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeDraft is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including hiring outcomes.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting support@draft-resume.com.

10. Changes to these terms

We'll update the date above when these Terms change and notify active users of material changes.
